# Writing

> Type "/" for blocks, "@" for your own objects, and paste a link to keep it.

A map is written like a document.

## What you can do

- **`/`** — containers, lists, checklists, toggles, code, formulas, nested maps
- **`@`** — drop in anything you have saved
- **Paste a link** — it becomes a real object, not just text
- Drag blocks to reorder them, or into a nested map to move them there
- Select several blocks to group them

## Good to know

Everything saves as you type.
